В работе приведены данные о первой находке инвазивной цикадки Metcalfa pruinosa (Say, 1830) (Hemiptera: Auchenorrhyncha: Flatidae), выявленной в августе 2018 года на территории Донбасса. Проанализировано современное распространение, биология, трофические связи и вредоносность M. pruinosa в условиях вторичного ареала.

The paper gives the first record of invasive leafhopper species Metcalfa pruinosa (Say, 1830) (Hemiptera: Auchenorrhyncha: Flatidae) in August 2018 in the territory of Donbass. The study focused on the analysis of the up-to-day spread, biology, trophic preference and harmfulness of M. pruinosa in the secondary range.
