Проведена оценка симметричных и асимметричных изменений как составляющих варьирования формы листовой пластинки Роpulus nіgra L. s.l. в условиях городских экосистем. В вариабельность формы верхушки и срединной трети листовой пластинки асимметричные изменения вносят больший вклад, чем симметричные. Асимметричные изменения характеризуются проявлением флуктуирующей асимметрии, статистически значимая направленная асимметрия не выявлена. Максимальная степень изменчивости листовой пластинки, связанная с флуктуирующей асимметрией, приходится на верхушку листовой пластинки.

Asymmetrical changes make a greatercontribution to the variability of the shape of the apex and the middle third of the leaf blade than symmetrical changes. Asymmetric changes are characterized by the manifestation of fluctuating asymmetry, a statistically significant directional asymmetry was not detected. The maximum degree of variability of the leaf blade associated with fluctuating asymmetry falls on the tip of the leaf blade.
