Рассматривается пример инвентаризации степных участков Шахтерского района ДНР с целью апробации метода визуального выделения степных территорий на основе использования компьютерной программы QGIS. Полученные предварительные результаты примерно соответствуют статистическим данным по структуре земель района, покрытых травянистой растительностью (сенокосы и пастбища). Определена доля степных территорий в составе ООПТ района. Делается вывод о крайне низкой представленности степных экосистем (около 2% площади района) в охраняемых природных территориях Шахтерского района и существенной доле степных экосистем, не обеспеченных территориальной формой охраны природы.
An example of the inventorying of the steppe areas of the Shakhtersk administrative district of the DPR is examined with the aim of testing the method of visualizing of steppe territories using the QGIS computer program. The preliminary results obtained roughly correspond to the statistical data on the land structure of the region covered with grassy vegetation (hayfields and pastures). The share of steppe territories in the SPNA of the region has been determined. It is concluded that the representation of steppe ecosystems among protected natural territories of the administrative district is extremely low (about 2% of the total area) and a significant proportion of steppe ecosystems is not provided with a territorial form of nature protection.
