Based on literary sources and author’s own herbarium materials, information on the growth of Amur lovegrass Eragrostis amurensis Prob. in Donbass is presented. The contemporary data on the spread of this species in Eurasia is shown. The morphological characteristics of the individuals collected in the territory of Lugansk (LPR) are given. To clarify the spread of E. amurensis in Donbass, it is necessary to continue field research, as well as to review critically the herbarium materials of Eragrostis pilosa (L.) Beauv. s. str. stored at the Donetsk Botanical Garden (DNZ).
