В статье приведен очерк истории развития научных исследований по фиторекультивации техногенных экотопов Донбасса учеными Донецкого ботанического сада с 60-х годов ХХ века по настоящее время. Проанализированы основные научные результаты и итоги каждого этапа исследования. Изучение антропогенно трансформированных экосистем отличалось подходами на каждом из этапов рассматриваемого временного промежутка, что обусловило различную результативность использованных методик. Расширение спектра проводимых исследований и накопленный практический опыт позволили существенно повысить эффективность предлагаемых разработок.

The article is an essay on the history of the development of scientific research on the phytoremediation of Donbass technogenous ecotopes by scientists of the Donetsk Botanical Garden from the 60s of the ХХ century to the present time. The main scientific results and outcome of each stage of the study were analyzed. The study of anthropogenic transformed ecosystems differed by approaches at every stage of the time frame in question, which led to different results of the used methodologies. The expansion of the range of research carried out and the accumulated practical experience have significantly increased the effectiveness of the proposed developments.
