Дана оценка декоративности 14 видов родов Hylotelephium, Rhodiola и Sedum ex situ в
условиях степной зоны. Определены периоды их общей и максимальной декоративности,
описаны формы роста. Выявлено, что при низкой освещенности экспериментальных
участков цветение начиналось позже у всех видов родов Hylotelephium и Rhodiola, а также у
8 видов рода Sedum. При этом продолжительность периода цветения существенно
уменьшилась у 5-ти изученных видов, у одного вида цветение длилось дольше. Для
достижения более высокого декоративного эффекта на участках с низкой степенью
освещённости следует применять более загущенные посадки 6-ти видов.
Высокодекоративны на освещённых участках 3 изученных вида, декоративны 11 видов, на
затенённых, соответственно, 1 и 12. Один вид в условиях затенения малодекоративен.

The estimation of ornamentality of 14 species of the genera Hylotelephium, Rhodiola and Sedum
was carried out in ex situ conditions of the steppe zone. The terms of their common and maximum
decorative effects were determined, their forms of growth were described. It was found that in lowlight trial plots flowering was observed later in all the species of genera Hylotelephium and
Rhodiola, as well as in 8 species of the genus Sedum. In this case the duration of flowering
significantly decreased in 5 studied species, and in one species blooming lasted longer. To achieve a
high decorative effect in spots with low illumination, more dense plantings of six species are
recommended. Among the species under investigation, three ones are highly ornamental and 11
ones are decorative in well-lit areas. In the shaded areas 2 species were highly decorative and 1
species was ornamental respectively. One of the species is not ornamental in the shade.
