A brief overview of the work of the II International Conference «Problems and Prospects of Sustainable Development of the Soil Cover of Mountain and Plain Territories» and the III International Scientific School «Monitoring, Protection and Restoration of Soil Ecosystems in Conditions of Anthropogenic Pressure», held in Gelendzhik on June 4–9, 2024 on the basis of a branch of the Southern Federal University is presented. The main directions of work of the Conference and School are given, as well as the topics of the presented reports.
