Проведен системный анализ объекта исследований промышленной ботаники. Выделена над организменная система, достигшая наиболее высокого уровня целостности — органического целого. Это этнос в понимании Л.Н. Гумилёва. Промышленная ботаника имеет свой собственный конкретный объект исследований — автотрофный блок этнических систем, что и определяет ее значимость для развития человечества.

The systemic analysis of the investigation object of industrial botany has been performed, aboveorganismic system with the highest level of integrity — organic integral, has been defined. It is ethnos in L. N. Gumilev’s concept. Industrial botany has its concrete object of investigation — an autotrophic block of ethnic systems which determines its significance for the development of mankind.
