В работе приведен анализ роста и развития деревьев и кустарников рода Celtis L. ( C. australis L., C. bungeana Blume, C. caucasica Willd., C. crassifolia Lam., C. occidentalis L., C. pumila Pursh, C. reticulata Torr.) в условиях Нижнего Поволжья, изучен их адаптационный потенциал в экстремальных условиях юго-востока европейской части Российской Федерации. Определена перспективность интродукции растений для озеленения засушливых регионов.
The work presents an analysis of the growth and development of trees and shrubs of the genus Celtis L. ( C. australis L., C. bungeana Blume., C. caucasica Willd., C. crassifolia Lam., C. occidentalis L., C. pumila Pursh, C. reticulata Torr.) in Lower Volga region. Adaptation potential in extreme conditions of the southeast of the European part of the Russian Federation was studied. The plant introduction prospects for greening of arid regions were determined.
